The Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe is a quilter's garden. Sprouting in 2002, our unique shoppe is nestled in the quaint town of Harrisville Michigan on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron.

Located in a historic building, the Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe offers a bouquet of fine cotton fabrics along with books, kits, patterns, notions and more. There are treasures around every corner for both experienced and beginning quilters alike.

We carry a wide variety of 100% cotton fabric styles that includes everything from Civil War and 30's reproduction to Oriental and batik fabrics, as well as Moda, Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett! Hopefully we have something to appeal to everyone's taste.

Our stock includes the latest books and patterns as well as the most useful and clever notions on the market. This includes a wide array of quilting stencils. If we don't have it, we'll be happy to special-order it for you!

We also cut and package our own kits, and there are models in the shoppe so you can see exactly what you're getting. Cindi tries to keep up with cutting fat quarters from every bolt on the shelves (a never-ending challenge), but if you don't see the one you want we'll be glad to cut it for you!

Our thread selections include all 84 luscious colors of 30-weight Blendables by Sulky, as well as a large rack of Mettler silk-finish cotton in all colors of the rainbow. We stock Warm & White batting for those who love the feel of an old-fashioned cotton quilt, but we also handle Quilter's Dream Poly Select batting in all sizes for those who enjoy hand-quilting. We also offer a wide range of quilting classes throughout the year for every level of quilter.



Our goal is for your visit to Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience and we hope you enjoy our creative reuse of antiques and junque (along with plenty of models!) that we have used and display to create an inspiring and interesting atmosphere.
